Tour at old city of Jaffa
We will start our tour at the Clock Tower Square, which is located at the entrance to the old city. This square is named after the clock tower that was built in the early 20th century by the Ottoman Empire. The clock tower is now a symbol of Jaffa and is a popular meeting spot for locals and tourists alike.
From there, we can walk down the narrow, winding streets of the old city, which are lined with colorful buildings, galleries, and artisan shops. We can visit the Jaffa Flea Market, which is a vibrant outdoor market selling everything from antiques and vintage clothes to fresh produce and street food.
One of the main landmarks in Jaffa is the Old Jaffa Port, which dates back to biblical times. Today, the port is a popular spot for fishermen and tourists, and it offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. We can also visit the Jaffa Museum of Antiquities, which houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits from the city's rich history.
As we wander through the streets of Jaffa, we'll also see many historic churches and mosques, including St. Peter's Church, which is believed to be the site where the apostle Peter had a vision that led to the spread of Christianity.
